Were it not for my already developed love of Victoria Hanley's books I definitely wouldn't have read this. Even though I don't think that I have many biases. . .I definitely felt a little self-conscious when I (a 24-year old guy), handed this to the local librarian with its oh-so-pink cover. However, just like the age-old adage suggests that we shouldn't judge a book by its cover-- I ended up loving it and eagerly look forward to reading the next in the series. I would probably give it a rating of 4.5 stars if Amazon's system was more versatile but, regardless it's a great book. (Note: I couldn't find any info online on future writings-- but I found Victoria Hanley's email on her website-- so I emailed her and she personally responded and told me that she's working on the next one now.)
